We're big believers in the power of open-source collaboration here at Pharos. Our software product, Pharos AMS directly uses (our best estimate) 22 different open-source projects -- and that's not even taking into account our production environment and development tools.

Whew! We've been working furiously over the last two weeks to add solid features, performance optimizations and UI improvements to our Alpha release candidate.

Our hard work has been paying off, though -- we've pushed out seven updates to our alpha production platform. Seven updates in two weeks! That's what I call "release early, release often!"

Over the weekend, we pushed out two noteworthy updates to the Alpha site to enhance realtime data monitoring and improve cross-browser support.

Our alpha test site is online! Hosting is being provided by the excellent Engine Yard, and we were able to quickly deploy onto the cluster and get up and running.
