Pharos Trader is a secure web-based application providing advanced market data archival, analytical and management tools to energy traders. It shares much of the same functionality as our Pharos AMS product, but with a sharper focus on the needs of energy traders.

Public Data

Pharos Trader captures, stores and displays public data that is important to energy traders. For example, some of the data that Pharos Trader captures are: daily market reports, power prices, actual and forecast load, nuclear outages, and transmission outages.

Most markets provide a basic form of viewing and accessing this information. Pharos Trader takes it a giant leap further by integrating this data so you can see loads and prices along with your private offers and awards. We also provide tools to visualize the data in a more intuitive and meaningful way to help you spend less time collecting and analyzing data and more time looking for better opportunities.

Private Data

Pharos Trader interfaces with markets' APIs and secure sites to capture your bids and offers, awards, and settlements data. All your financial information can be displayed in a unified web interface. With this information we can help you analyze the performance of your past trades. We make it easier to check your bids and offers prior to market close to help prevent costly bidding mistakes. Pharos Trader can also automatically notify you of your awards and track your profit and loss statement in real time.

Users

Pharos Trader's end users are trading shops who may not have significant IT resources, yet want a high-end customizable solution for archiving and analyzing market data and financial information. Since it is a hosted product you do not have to worry about maintaining servers, databases or communications and you will have access to new features and upgrades as they are developed—at no additional charge.
